Geoff Read made a special effort during 2008 to prepare a Standardised Talk & PowerPoint Presentation that could be used by any DCRSC Volunteer to give a talk to any organisation that would be interested in receiving one. The talk concentrates solely on the work of DCRSC, its caseworkers and its volunteers... and in particular... emphasises Myth-Busting.

Several talks were conducted during the course of the year and it was eventually fine-tuned at the DCRSC Training Day in September.   We will continue to advertise the availability of these talks and now we have a sprinkling of volunteers who are prepared to get up and give a Talk almost anywhere and at a moment’s notice!
